Imbecile Burglars Caught After Leaving Clue At Crime Scene
As they say, pulling off a successful crime isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. Recently, a trio of young men tried to pull off a burglary, but learnt the hard way that just bad intention does not a burglar make. In other words, they learnt that you need a semblance of a brain to pull off a crime. Basically, the trio were trying to steal some jewelry and electronics from a home in Pompano Beach and stuffing it in a backpack, when the locals realized what they were up to. The trio was left with no other choice as a result and had to make a run for it.

In the whole confusion they left behind the backpack, in which they were stuffing the loot. As it turns out, the school report card of one of the burglars was found in the backpack, which in turn helped nab the trio. The county Judge John Hurley recounted in court how the trio had left behind the backpack which not only contained the progress report of one of the burglars, but also his class schedule. Surely, the grades on the report card would also bear testimony to how brilliant this trio is.
According to the authorities, the trio had been planning this burglary since Sept 21. So well planned was this burglary that the trio didn’t even think of using an empty backpack. David Nelson, one of the burglars, it seems was the one who concocted the plan. He came up with this brilliant plan during one of his visits to his girlfriend, who lives in the vicinity of the house he tried to burgle. She allegedly was kept in the loop about the whole plan and David even called her after gaining entry into the house he and his friends were planning to rob.

In court Tyrrell Richardson, one of the young men, admitted to the whole thing, saying he was in need of the money which is why he did what he did. Well, there couldn’t have been a more brilliant justification by a criminal for a crime committed. Nelson, admitted to planning the whole operation, but rued the fact that he was cheated out of the opportunity to participate in the burglary. Here’s hoping better sense prevails and the trio decide against a life of burglary because they clearly aren’t cut out for it.
