However addressing the media in Islamabad today, Imran Khan said that the party would decide about holding the sit-in in Islamabad after October 11 by-elections. According to party leaders, PTI chairman would meet senior leadership and would also finalise election strategy.

Ayaz Sadiq has challenged the tribunal’s verdict in the Supreme Court but opted to contest the election instead of seeking a stay order.
“If Mr Tareen’s lawyer was not afraid of Siddique Baloch, why did he refrain from arguing the case, even though Mr Baloch’s counsel was ready to argue and reply to any objection and query from the other side”, he argued.
The Information Minister said remarks of the PTI leader about the judgement amount to contempt of court. Imran has directed the party workers to be united to participate in NA-122 election campaign.
The federal minister said that Jehangir Tareen had to resort to pomp and show in Lodhran by fearing the by-election, alleging that PTI introduce the “industry of lota-cracy”.
In a press conference in Islamabad on Tuesday after the PTI’s Central Organizing Committee meeting, the party Chief Imran Khan made the announcement in this regard.
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has postponed its planned rally in Islamabad on October 4, and decided that it would hold a public gathering in Lahore on October 9. PTI has fielded Aleem Khan as its candidate whereas Ayaz Sadiq is PML-N candidate in the constituency. “Otherwise, it will be hard for us to accept by-poll results”.

The group had won six provincial assembly and two national assembly seats in the 2013 general elections in Lodhran.
