In 5 Minutes, Nestle India Sold Out 60000 Maggi Kits On Snapdeal
Online marketplace Snapdeal on Thursday claimed that it took just 5 minutes for 60,000 welcome kits of Maggi to be sold out on Flash sale as consumers thronged the e-commerce platform to lap up their 2-minute instant noodles. But as it made a come back, it chose to do so in style by forming an alliance with Snapdeal, and a Maggi Welcome Kit which has 12 packs of Maggi, a Maggi calendar, fridge magnet and even a Maggi post card with a “Welcome Back” letter, as reported by The Times Of India.

Maggi was banned after it was allegedly found to have lead content beyond permissible limits. “We are happy to make this Diwali truly special for them”, says Tony Navin, Senior Vice President, Partnerships and Strategic initiatives Snapdeal.
This popular brand of 2- minutes instant maggi noodles have successfully passed the tests and even it started manufacturing the noodles on biggest e-commerce sites such as snapdeal and more. Potential customers have to register to avail the deal.
Nestle India also said that it is in touch with its channel partners and distributors to start reselling the product across the country.
In June, the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) had banned the products saying it was “unsafe and hazardous” for consumption after finding lead levels beyond permissible limits.
Nestle India statement said that most states do not have a ban on the sale of Maggi noodles.
