Vice President Joe Biden offered powerful criticism of Donald Trump Wednesday, painting the Republican nominee as completely unqualified for the presidency. “And while this nation has been tested by war and recession and all manner of challenge — I stand before you again tonight, after nearly two terms as your President, to tell you I am even more optimistic about the future of America”, he said.
He said the 68-year-old former first lady and senator knew what it’s like to be in the room when tough epoch-making and presidency-breaking decisions were taken – like the move to strike Osama bin Laden. America isn’t about ‘yes he will.’ It’s about ‘yes we can.’ And we’re going to carry Hillary to victory this fall, because that’s what the moment demands.
