In using language similar to what Ryan had used on him in his hesitancy to endorse as the party nominee, Trump said that he was “not quite there yet”.
When Trump was asked whether he would endorse Ryan, he said, “I like Paul, but these are disgusting times for our country”.
While some lawmakers have not actively endorsed Trump, Hanna was the first to say he would vote for Clinton in the November 8 election.
Nehlen, a businessman who like Trump has never held public office, has praised Trump and had recently tweeted articles and comments supporting the GOP nominee. John McCain in his primary in Arizona, and he singled out Sen.
Ryan condemned any criticism of Muslim Americans who serve their country, while Ayotte declared she was “appalled” by Trump’s spat with the Khans.
Trump’s son, Eric Trump, told CBS News on Tuesday that his father’s comments toward the Khans have been “blown hugely out of proportion”. “I’m not quite there yet”.
Both Ryan and McCain in recent days have sharply criticized Trump over his latest controversy, his disparaging remarks about the Muslim parents of Humayun Khan, a US Army captain who died in the Iraq War.
Asked about Trump’s recent comments about foreign policy and his continued criticism of the family of a fallen USA service member, the president was blunt: “Yes”.
After the interview was published, Ayotte wrote in a Twitter post: “I call it like I see it and I’m always going to stand up for our military families and what’s best for the people of New Hampshire”. “We need fighters in this country”.
President Barack Obama on Tuesday blasted Trump as unfit to be president and questioned why any Republican would support the NY businessman, who is seeking his first public office. Or something equally unusual happens in Arizona, and McCain goes down. “They’re not being treated fairly”.
Ryan, McCain and Ayotte are all engaged in tough GOP primary fights. John McCain in their upcoming primaries. As for Ayotte, who is running for a second Senate term and skipped the Republican National Convention, Trump said: “You have a Kelly Ayotte who doesn’t want to talk about Trump, but I’m beating her in the polls by a lot”. “I got out”, after seven years, he told the network on Tuesday.
He went on: “We need loyal people in this country”. “You tell me. Are these people that should be representing us, okay? But Kelly Ayotte has given me zero support, and I’m doing great in New Hampshire”. We have enough of them.

McCain responded with a lengthy denunciation in which he said Trump does not have “unfettered license to defame those who are the best among us”.
