In CNN Interview, Hillary Clinton Says She Did Not Faint
Hillary Clinton’s campaign didn’t disclose she had pneumonia until she had to leave an event early on Sunday.

Speaking in Maryland Monday, Trump said he was shocked to hear Clinton “attack, slander, smear and demean these wonderful, unbelievable people who are supporting our campaign”.
Doctors say her condition, combined with Sunday’s heat and humidity, all could have contributed to her condition.
Cooper asked Clinton “how many times over the course of the last, say, five years you’ve been dehydrated and gotten dizzy?”
“It can be easy to forget that presidential candidates are human beings too I sincerely extend my best wishes to Secretary Clinton for a full and speedy recovery, ” Stein said in a statement.
As family members of 9/11 victims read the names of the almost 3,000 people killed in the attacks, she made a decision to leave and get a drink of water. Instead of campaigning and fund-raising in California, Clinton was resting Monday at her home in New York’s Westchester County and reassuring supporters she is on the mend. “I’m still actually recovering from the cough that I got through that”.
As Clinton walked to the motorcade, she began to feel dizzy and had to be helped into her van. Earnest said. “She bore a significant burden both mentally and physically”. Shortly after entering the air-conditioned vehicle, he said, she began calling aides and requested to go to her daughter’s Manhattan home. Clinton exited the building on her own, wearing sunglasses and carrying a handbag.
In a move aimed at quieting questions about transparency, Clinton said she would be releasing more medical information this week.
The 68-year-old fell sick at a 9/11 memorial event in NY on Sunday and a video showed her being helped into a van.
But growing bacteria in culture can take days, “and in half of all pneumonia cases, even with tests, we aren’t able to identify the cause”, said Dr. Charles S. Dela Cruz, a lung specialist at Yale medical school.
“I think that in retrospect, we could have handled it better in terms of providing more information more quickly”, Mrs Clinton spokesman Brian Fallon told MSNBC. “That’s on us and we regret that”.
Last month, her personal doctor Lisa Bardack said in a letter that the candidate was “in excellent health and fit to serve as president of the United States”. Clinton vowed to return to the campaign trail within the “next couple of days”. Provocateur Roger Stone on Sunday said that “the hide-and-seek game Hillary is playing with her health must end” and that “the woman is not well – it’s time for her to admit it”.
In her first interview since falling ill, Clinton called into CNN on Monday night and downplayed her diagnosis by saying she didn’t think “it was going to be that big a deal”.
Trump said on Monday that health was a campaign issue but he did not attack Clinton over her physical condition. And the campaign acknowledged, just as Clinton was tweeting, that she will not attend her scheduled campaign event Wednesday, September 14, in Nevada – with Bill Clinton due to stump there on her behalf according to an aide to the former president.
