In new national poll, Clinton gains and Trump drops
While Clinton entered the DNC trailing Trump, in the six days since it ended, her percentage of support has risen to a near constant 49 percent, while Trump’s share has dropped steadily.

Speaking at the National Association of Black Journalists and National Association of Hispanic Journalists in Washington, when she said: “I hope you will compare what I’m proposing to what my husb-.my opponent is talking about”. Absolutely. Do I think that he has zero chance to win and has effectively lost the race in August? “What I told the Federal Bureau of Investigation, which he said was truthful, is consistent with what I have said publicly”. Trump has presented himself as someone who thinks he doesn’t need advisers, while Clinton appears open to considering input. [Photo by Spencer Platt/Getty Images] While Clinton’s lead in MI isn’t quite as big as in New Hampshire and Pennsylvania, Richard Czuba, president of polling firm Glengariff Group Inc., said the Democratic nominee holds a “shocking” leading in the west and southwest areas of the state, which normally vote Republican.
Another rally Friday night in Wisconsin, Trump alleged that Clinton is a monster. “He is harkening back to the most shameful chapters of our history and appealing to the ugliest impulses of our society”.
The charges came soon after Clinton addressed her own political vulnerabilities while facing a group of minority journalists in Washington. “But we are not afraid”, she said. However, 60 percent of New Hampshire voters still hold negative views on Trump, versus 29 percent who view him favorably.
At the core of Clinton’s brief remarks at Friday’s conference was the economic progress made under President Barack Obama’s two terms in the White House. Gingrich said Trump could offset tax losses by overturning Obama administration regulations and from expanded energy exploration revenues. “We are out of the ditch that we were in and now we’ve got to do even more”.
The Democratic nominee for president noted minorities were especially hurt by the financial crisis. “So she’s got both”, he alleged. Those areas went for U.S. Sen.
Clinton’s surprising edge in Georgia follows a week of favorable national and battleground state polling for the former secretary of state after a bounce from the Democratic National Convention and fueled by Trump’s own hard stretch. “She’s a disaster, so we’re going to focus more on Hillary Clinton”, Trump said. “Hillary Clinton was right when she called my son the best of America”. He also questioned why Khan’s wife did not speak at the convention, suggesting it was because she was required to be subservient to her husband due to their Muslim faith.
Clinton started the week with a hefty flub Sunday when she told Fox News’s host Chris Wallace that Federal Bureau of Investigation director James Comey had agreed that her answers about her emails were truthful. The NBC/Journal survey of 800 registered voters was conducted July 31-Aug. Over time, her economic program has become less precise, not more. “Crooked Hillary said loudly, and for the world to see, that she “SHORT CIRCUITED” when answering a question about her e-mails”.
But Clinton has not once taken questions for 15 to 20 minutes in 2016.
The pro-Clinton super PAC Priorities USA also launched an ad this week featuring a number of Republicans criticizing Trump.

A NBC/Wall Street Journal national survey found Trump trailing Clinton by 9 points (up from five points last month).
