In Response to This Week’s Shootings Trevor Noah Calls Bull Sh

“In America, it’s like if you take a stand for something, you automatically are against something else”, said Noah, adding that it’s such a “strange world to be in”.

The Daily Show host Trevor Noah’s segment on the shootings focused on the “us vs. them” nature of the debate surrounding police brutality.

Sadly, divisions seem to be deepening between the Black community and the police.

“You can be pro-cop and pro-black”, Noah said. That was after Thursday’s late-night programs had taped for the day, and so political satire shows like The Daily Show and The Nightly Show will likely have more to say next week. Mass shootings in this country are overwhelmingly committed by white men, and yet, have you ever heard someone blame the entire white race for one white person’s crimes? It’s what we should be aiming for. “You shouldn’t have to choose between the police and the citizens that they are sworn to protect”.

“When it comes to videos of police killings, seeing isn’t believing”. Noah continues to shed light on their lies with a montage of people doing X-treme sports with their cameras attached the whole time.

Another tweet included the message to “save lives, not trade places”.

In video above, Trevor Noah put into words the problem that our nation has been struggling to grasp for centuries. “When it comes to Bigfoot, people see one blurry video and people dedicate their lives to finding him”.

After giving Americans a lecture on taking sides, he then zeroed in on the importance of American police forces admitting there’s a problem.

He continued, “And although this is a problem that disproportionately affects black people, it’s not just a black problem”.
