In South Carolina, Sanders acknowledges he’d lose Democratic nomination if
Referring to Republicans’ repeated attempts to repeal Obamacare in Congress, Clinton said, “Honestly, I don’t know why they do this. Fairness is a big deal”. With the liberal wing of the Democratic party ascendant, Clinton’s relationship with banks and financial services firms has become a major vulnerability for the former secretary of State. “Well, it’s official”, she said. “Now, Clinton is not only leading the race for the Democratic nomination, but has a solid majority saying, ‘She’s my choice.’ She wasn’t close to that before”, Selzer added. But Clinton and her advisers argue that Glass-Steagall would not have prevented the failure of large financial institutions, such as investment bank Lehman Brothers and insurer AIG, during the Great Recession. Sanders favors its restoration. She understands that single payer healthcare is still a toxic issue. And each candidate officially signed paperwork that will put their name on the state’s ballot.

The national poll of 1,002 adults, including 385 registered Democrats or Democrat-leaners, was conducted November 15-17 for Bloomberg Politics by Selzer & Co. of Des Moines, Iowa. “Well, guess what? You’ve got three”.
“Are the working people in this country going to be able to count on hard decisions being made by President Hillary Clinton with regard to her Wall Street chums?”
Hillary Clinton has been accused of putting on a southern accent during a campaign stop in Memphis. She also proposes to make sure fines for corporate wrongdoing hit executive bonuses, and to pursue criminal prosecutions when justified.
“I will not do that”, Clinton said. Any political harm resulting from her Wall Street ties would be minimal, they maintain, because she never took action in exchange for donations.
O’Malley also has his own problems.
During a speech at LeMoyne-Owen College earlier this week, a few people claimed the Democratic presidential candidate’s voice had something of a southern twang.
Bashing Wall Street is not an automatic win for Sanders, however. In September’s poll which included Vice President Joe Biden, who later decided not to run, Clinton led Sanders 33 percent to 24 percent. “I am going to say go read my speech because obviously, I laid out a comprehensive strategy to deal with ISIS in the air, on the ground and online”, Clinton said, referencing a speech she gave earlier in the week on defeating ISIS.
“She was waving the bloody shirt of 9/11 to defend herself, which we’re accustomed to seeing with demagogues on the right, and it just didn’t feel quite right”, said Kurt Meyer, a co-chairman of the Mitchell County Democrats in Iowa, who has not endorsed a candidate.

“When a working-class woman has a baby, she should not be forced to go back to work a week or two later”, Sanders said.
