KANSAS CITY, MO – Major League Baseball and the Royals reporting today that K.C. third baseman Mike Moustakas has been named to the American League All-Star team via the Final Vote presented by Esurance.
Public voting is open until 3 p.m. Friday, and players are pushing for those numbers.
Trailing Moustakas in final voting were Twins second baseman Brian Dozier, Tigers outfielder Yoenes Cespedes, Red Sox shortstop Xander Bogaerts, and Yankees outfielder Brett Gardner.
