These incredible photos show the moment a hungry crocodile slammed a reptilian rival down on a river bank in Australia before enjoying it for lunch.

A photographer has captured dramatic scenes of two crocodiles trying to eat each other during a violent battle in tropical North Queensland, Australia.
Taken by Sandra Bell, the pictures show the larger saltie destroying its considerably smaller opponent, which gets tossed like a ragdoll before being munched down in what is undoubtedly the most decisive possible way to end a fight.
Queensland National Parks, or QNP, posted the astonishing sequence of images to Facebook on Tuesday, and they’re now going viral.
The Queensland region has a CrocWise page which details how to stay safe when the reptiles are around.
Officials have warned tourists to obey crocodile signs in the park and not to feed them or swim near them.
“Crocodiles are potentially unsafe”.
“Always remember that no natural waterway in crocodile country is ever 100% risk free, and the public should remain “croc-wise” at all times when in and around crocodile habitat, ” the advice says.
Crocodile cannibalism is common during the wet season from September to March.

“That is the first thing they will try and do but if that doesn’t work they are quite happy to go and kill them”.
