A day after both sides were locked in a diplomatic stand-off over Kashmir, ahead of Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s address to the 71st session of the UN General Assembly, the exchange continued at the 33rd Session of the UN Human Rights Council. It helped Sheikh Mujeeb-ur-Rehman as well. Mir Mehran Murri, another brother of Harbiyar, lives in Germany but keeps moving to other European countries too for the goal of propaganda against Pakistan govt and its security agencies.
“In the meeting we will also take a decision on how and when to apply for asylum”, Sher Mohammad Bugti told IANS.
“That is why they only need Balochistan and not the Baloch people”, he added. “While advocating restraint to others, it has no hesitation in using air power against its own people”, said India. But when Indian Prime Minister Modi Sahib talked about it, it got more highlighted and the public there knows about it now.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is expected to arrive in NY on Sunday to attend the United Nations session and so far Kashmir is high on the list of issues he is likely to raise in his address to the General Assembly on Sept 20. He has also urged the global community including the US, NATO countries, Israel and India, to help Balochi leaders fight their cause, both politically and militarily.
Baloch activists and leaders have continuously maintained that Pakistan is involved in the genocide of the Baloch people and that human rights violations are rampant in the region there, and have welcomed India’s recent move in highlighting their plight, claiming that it would draw the attention of global community and western media in particular.
The troubled region of Balochistan, is about the size of France and is also Pakistan’s largest province.
The protestors were seen raising “Baloch wants freedom”, “Pakistan Murdabad”, “Thankyou Modi” and “We want freedom” slogans.
India in response to Pakistan’s charges said, “Pakistan has alleged human rights violations in India”.

“.If we had wanted to, we could always have raised the stakes for Pakistan in Balochistan”. Clearly, the United States acknowledges and understands the important role played by Pakistan in the South Asian region and the need for maintaining a relationship based on trust and goodwill with one of its key allies.
