No play was possible at the Queen’s Park Oval on Monday’s scheduled last day of the match, the fourth consecutive day on which there was no play because of saturated areas around the playing square.

Pakistan will be getting the number-one ranking for the first time since the official rankings were introduced in 2003.
Pakistan Test captain Misbah-ul-Haq has said achieving top Test ranking for Pakistan for the first time is something to be very proud of and the entire nation is delighted over this special feat.
Cricket-obsessed Pakistanis were Tuesday celebrating their national team’s “incredible journey” to the top of the Test rankings after a turbulent seven years in which they were forced to play home matches on neutral venues. The battle for the number-one ranking between the two traditional rivals will resume in September-October when New Zealand will visit India and Pakistan will host the West Indies in the UAE.
The two teams now move to Florida in the United States to play two T20 Internationals on August 27 and 28. “You want to be the best side in the world and that has always been our aim”.
India will now travel to Florida to play two-match Twenty20 worldwide series against the West Indies on August 27-28.
It capped a remarkable rise for Misbah-ul-Haq’s team which was almost thrown out of the global arena over a spot-fixing scandal on their tour of England in 2010.
Ravichandran Ashwin rounded off the four-Test series with two centuries and 17 wickets and the India spinner said he had expected a handsome return from the tour of West Indies, which India wrapped up with a 2-0 win after the fourth match was abandoned.
The shambolic finale will be of major concern to the WICB, given that the agreement of the Indians to play four Tests in the Caribbean was seen as a major diplomatic triumph after the abandonment of a tour of India by the West Indies in October 2014.

India’s Test skipper Virat Kohli said that the team is not too much concerned about losing the No.1 position in the longest format of cricket as they don’t play for rankings.
