India opener Dhawan ruled out of remaining Sri Lanka tests

“The BCCI medical team has confirmed that opening batsman Mr. Shikhar Dhawan has been ruled out of the remaining part of India’s tour of Sri Lanka – 2015″, the BCCI said in a release. Credit goes to Sangakkara, Mathews, Thirimanne and Mubarak as well. It was a slow start from overnight batsmen, with Dhawan looking to get his eye in while Ishant looking to spend as much time at the wicket as possible.

He said India lost the match because they brought pressure on themselves and it was just a matter of winning one match to get the team rolling. We don’t have to justify anything to anybody as to the kind of cricket you are going to play. “It was a great effort to come back from where we were”.
