To a question on resumption of India-Pakistan talks, Swaraj said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Pakistan in December 2015 “and we got Pathankot in return”.

United States Secretary of State John Kerry arrived in India to start the annual US-India strategic dialogue in which tension with Pakistan over the disputed Kashmir region will be discussed.

One research scholar even asked what U.S. wants India to do better, to which Kerry diplomatically said that while India and United States have a great relationship, it wished that India would find an alternative to coal.
