Akbar Kudroli, who is presently stationed in a foreign country, allegedly posted derogatory comments against the city police commissioner after he imposed ban on Dr. Zakir Naik from entering Mangaluru city and restricted him from conducting public meetings.
The bench, during the hearing, said that it has come to know from newspapers that the police commissioner had banned Dr Zakir from entering the city till January 7.
Situation in the coastal Karnataka districts has remained volatile in view of communal rest since the last two months prompting the police to prevent Dr. Naik from addressing a public rally in Mangaluru.
