Jeff Zillgitt of USA Today reported earlier today that unrestricted free agent Toney Douglas will sign with the Indiana Pacers.

Sounds like these uniforms aren’t the only thing the Pacers are doing this year to pay tribute to Indiana basketball, but does the opinion on the jerseys affect the overall look of them?

The Pelicans waived Toney Douglas before having to guarantee the rest of his contract.

The Pacers Home Court Gift Shop is open Thursday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. The store is located inside Bankers Life Fieldhouse. Douglas is a solid third string point guard, but Indiana doesn’t have enough roster spots. If Indiana makes a trade, Douglas could provide depth – especially because some of those other players will see most of their minutes on the wing.

Douglas, a six-year veteran who has played for six teams, is a 6-2 guard who played in 12 games for the Pelicans last season, averaging 4.3 points.

For his career, Douglas makes 35 percent of his three point attempts, so he has the ability to a help a team out.
