Papelbon couldn’t get an out and blew a two-run lead in the ninth inning as the Cleveland Indians rallied for three runs in their final at-bat to stun the Washington Nationals 7-6 on Tuesday night.

With the game tied in the sixth, Collins drew a bases-loaded two-out walk, which allowed Justin Upton to score the deciding run. He’s batting only.177 (14 of 79) in July. Drew is a career.252 hitter with 121 home runs, 503 RBI, 546 runs and 41 stolen bases in 1,203 games.
The Indians (57-42) have another off day on Thursday before they start a three-game weekend set against the Oakland Athletics (46-55) on Friday.

Sabathia (6-8) allowed four hits and struck out five to pick up his first win since June 16 after going 0-4 and allowing 31 runs – 29 earned – combined in his past six starts.
