Infamous Ball Hawk Criticized For Crashing Military-Only MLB Game
Tickets were awarded only through a lottery system to active members of the military with U.S. Department of Defense identification. The published author and well-positioned seizer of the home run that was Alex Rodriguez’s 3,000th career hit – last seen grousing about dropping some balls in the Yankee Stadium bleachers – excitedly tweeted pictures of the commemorative balls he snagged in the stands at Fort Bragg.

Hample countered that he donated money to a military charity and gave away all but one of the balls he caught.
Ball collector Zack Hample collected some virtual flying objects thrown his way on social media after compiling numerous souvenirs at Sunday night’s Major League Baseball game at Fort Bragg reserved for military personnel and their family members.
Noted ballhawk Zack Hample made his presence known at Sunday night’s Major League Baseball game at Fort Bragg that was meant for military personnel.
And yet Hample attended, drawing the ire of the 82nd Airborne Division based at Fort Bragg.
Hample has a documented history of pushing children out of the way to get the baseballs he so dearly cherishes, making him a blight on our nation’s pastime and an active deterrent to the up and coming generation falling in love with our game.
“Zack Hample is an attention whore who claims to have caught/collected more than 9,000 baseballs from 52 MLB stadiums”.
