InFocus launches four smartphones, one tablet
Earlier today, Infocus launched a bunch of devices in India, including four new smartphones, three feature phones, seven televisions, and a 2-in-1 hybrid tablet. “India was the first strategic country for the company to expand into new product categories like smartphones, tablets and TVs”, Sachin Thapar, country head of InFocus India told Economic Times, adding the company expects to clock at least $500 million in revenue by March 2016 and increase to $1 billion by the end of March 2017.

The smartphone portfolio ranges from Rs.5,999 to Rs.19,999.
InFocus’s also launched the Metallic Series, consisting of the InFocus M812 and InFocus M808 smartphones.
The InFocus M812 has anodized aluminum unibody design, 3 GB RAM, 16 GB internal memory, and a 2.5 GHz Qualcomm quad core processor.
The M808 meanwhile is being marketed for its13MP HDR camera that can take top-quality photos with minimal noise, according to the company.
The M370 smartphone is backed by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 (MSM8909) processor clocked at 1.1GHz coupled with 1GB of RAM. It comes with Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system right out of the box and offers both dual-SIM and 4G LTE support.
InFocus M812 sports a large 5.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution. The device has a 2,450mAh non-removable battery. With this, users will be allowed to enjoy 3D content without the need of 3D glasses.

The InFocus M808 (see below) smartphone features a 5.2-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display and is powered by MediaTek’s 64-bit octa-core MT6753 processor clocked at 1.3GHz with 2GB of RAM. Further, it has a 5-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front camera and an 8,000mAh battery. It features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display. There is 16GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 64GB via microSD card. It comes with a 2900mAh non-removable battery and measures 120 grams.
