Iniesta Thanks Real Fans for Ovation
Neymar and Suarez had scored Barca’s previous 19 La Liga goals before Andres Iniesta rifled his side’s third into the top corner to end any hopes of a Madrid revival in the second-half. The only thing we can do now is continue to work hard and see how we can improve for the next match.

The La Liga title race has shifted dramatically in favor of Barcelona after Saturday’s edition of El Clásico. “It will go down into history as a memorable game for all Barca fans”.
Barcelona reached 30 points from 12 matches with the victory, while Madrid remained with 24 points.
Luis Suarez has insisted that Barcelona’s 4-0 victory over Real Madrid in the Clasico on Saturday “was a cluster of many coincidences”.
“We played what was quite honestly a complete match in every sense”, Iniesta, who was given an ovation by the home fans when he was substituted late on, told Spanish television.
Karim Benzema started for Madrid for the first time since he was charged with complicity to blackmail and conspiring to commit a criminal act in his native France in a case involving a sex tape featuring French global teammate Mathieu Valbuena.
The Argentina captain, who has been out for almost two months with a knee injury, came on for Ivan Rakitic just before the hour and promptly sent Suarez clear to score a fourth for the European champions. We were up against a great side; we made mistakes and were made to pay for them.
After a slow opening it was Neymar who missed the first good chance, blasting over the bar from the edge of the area after Suarez had teed him up following Alba’s cross.
Neymar and Andres Iniesta scored one goal each in a massive performance that left the home crowd stunned.
Iniesta made his “Clasico” debut a year before Ronaldinho’s double and has featured in 32 Real-Barca games, the most of any active player from either side.
“Our objective was what we have now, to win as many games as possible, even with situation at club”, Luis Enrique said. He drove forward from middle of the pitch before slicing open the defence with a fine ball for Suarez to grab his 10th league goal of the season. The chance for Marcelo was a key point. Barcelona were confident of the result and that was clear as they continued the attacking wave.

He then ended a scoring drought in the league that stretched back to March 2014, when Barcelona won 4-3 at Madrid, by adding the third goal by blasting a powerful strike beyond goalkeeper Keylor Navas after he was deftly assisted by Neymar in the 53rd.
