The US Open champion won by three shots, having initially extended his advantage to four at the opening hole only to bogey the next two to find himself in a tie with in-form Englishman Paul Casey.

You can pinpoint the exact moment Dustin Johnson won the PGA Tour Player of the Year Award this season.
Johnson head to East Lake and the Tour Championship as the FedEx Cup leader, while Barclays victor Patrick Reed is second.
Day, who entered the week at No. 2 in the FedEx Cup point standings, was 2 over through 8 holes on the day.
The injury was not considered serious, and Day was hopeful of being in Atlanta in two weeks for the Tour Championship and a shot at the $10 million FedEx Cup bonus.
The PGA Tour will take a week off next weekend before heading to the Tour Championship at East Lake in Georgia September 22nd. This is Johnson’s third title of the year, likely inching him closer to Player of the Year honors, while Casey was a runner-up for the second straight week, and Castro’s finish was enough to get him back to East Lake.
Dustin Johnson is greeted by fans as he walks to the 17th tee box during the final round of the BMW Championship golf tournament at Crooked Stick Golf Club in Carmel, Ind., Sunday, Sept. 11, 2016.
“I don’t think it’s anything he hasn’t dealt with before”, Martin said. “It was nice to make a birdie on four … and then hit some really nice wedge shots after the first few holes”.
“To keep a clean sheet, I was very happy with”, said Casey, who posted a bogey-free round in “ugly” conditions.
Johnson eagled the 15th hole at Crooked Stick Golf Club (for the second time this week) to move to 23 under par, where he would stay for the remainder of the evening.
Johnson heads into East Lake as the FedEx Cup leader, while Barclays victor Patrick Reed is second, Adam Scott is third and world No. 1 Jason Day, who withdrew from the BMW after nine holes on Sunday with a back problem, is fourth. I’m just not totally sure that’s going to happen like it did past year.
Defending FedExCup champion Jordan Spieth signed for a three-under 69 to end the week inside the top-10, while Ryder Cup team-mates Brandt Snedeker and Jimmy Walker were part of the group on nine under.
Johnson collected his 12th PGA Tour title since joining the tour in 2008, a record bettered only by Tiger Woods.
