Injured In Rollover Crash Involving Miami Rescue Vehicles

Authorities say a central Florida mother is accused of leaving her two young children alone in her auto while she drank in a nearby bar.
Seven firefighters and five civilians were taken to Jackson’s Ryder Trauma Center to be treated for injuries.
Three firefighters and two patients inside the ambulance were admitted to the hospital’s trauma center as a precaution.
All 12 were listed in stable condition Tuesday night.
The other vehicle was a fire engine truck that was responding to a fire.
Firefighters ended up in the hospital after a fire truck and a rescue ambulance collided in Miami Tuesday afternoon.
The paramedic truck was transporting the two children and their grandmother to Jackson Memorial Hospital. Fire engine was headed to separate call.
Gomez said the two emergency vehicles were making separate runs when they collided in what he described as a “very busy intersection”. Officials say several rescue workers were hospitalized after the crash.
He said it is up to the police department to determine who is at fault.
