Injured Yuvraj Singh hits the gym to get ready for IPL 2016

Australian veteran Tom Moody, who has been retained as the coach for this year’s IPL, said that the team relied on the strong character of the players to cope with the different and tough situations the games in the tournament throw up.

“We have got a good balance of experience and youth in this side, which is important”. We’ll see you then! “He will be looking forward to learning and looking forward to the opportunity”. Everything’s going good and we’re looking in the right direction.

Despite the global spotlight and packed stadiums of the IPL, Mustafizur says that he is relaxed going into his first game in the orange jersey of Sunrisers Hyderabad.

“There will be no excuses this year”, Warner recently said at a press conference. “It’s a great bonus and a plus for us”. He couldn’t have picked a tougher side to break into for a foreigner (barring RCB perhaps) but his stock is high after the World T20 and IPL 9 could be the time when he fully announces himself on the big stage. But the players are professional cricketers.

But “The Fiz” will have his work cut out for him, as will the rest of the Sunrisers bowling corps, as they go up against the batting-packed Bangalore lineup which features three of the world’s best and most risky batsmen – India’s Virat Kolhi, who also captains the Royal Challengers; Chris Gayle of West Indies; and South Africa legend A.B.de Villiers.

One of the only two Bangladesh players – Shakib Al Hasan (Kolkata Knight Riders) being the other – in the competition, Mustafizur has created ripples across the cricket world with consistent performances in limited-overs cricket since making his T20I debut against Pakistan in April a year ago. We are hoping to have a clear picture by tomorrow afternoon.

Bowling coach Muttiah Muralitharan pointed to the pitches, which have drawn quite a bit of flak of late. “It was a treat to see him trouble batsmen, even on flat wickets”, said the SRH mentor.

Sunrisers finished sixth the last two seasons and it wasn’t lost on Laxman.

Mustafizur turned heads with his slowers and cutters since bursting into the scene in the ODI series against India last June. We are keen to play finals cricket.

Speaking on the occasion, Sunrisers Hyderabad CEO K Shanmugan said, “Sunrisers Hyderabad has had an exciting journey in the Indian Premier League and as always, we are very happy to continue and strengthen our relationship with the Red FM team”.
