Injury blow for in-form Son
Son has scored three goals for the Spurs in his five appearances to date, including a brace against Qarabag in Europa Leagues opener.

Dmitry Rybolovlev, the Russian billionaire and club president, has overseen a drastic approach in strategy and sold many of their star players including James Rodriguez and Anthony Martial, who joined Manchester United in September for a fee that could hit £58million.
“Heung-Min Son sustained a foot injury in a challenge during Saturday’s win against Manchester City and has spent the past few days being reviewed”, a statement on Tottenham’s official website read.
“Our medical staff will monitor Son’s progress during his rehabilitation in order to determine when he will be fit to return to training”.
Son was previously at Bayer Leverkusen and went on to score 29 goals from his 87 matches for the German club.
Whilst the length of the forward’s injury has not yet been confirmed, it is unlikely Son will play any part in either of those games.

A more intriguing possibility surrounding Son’s injury is that Érik Lamela could be selected to play in a more central role in Spurs’ attacking midfield line. “I think that we will expect a very tough game”. “His adaptation to the club has been good from the beginning”, the Argentine said. We believe it is not a big issue but every player is different and the recovery is always different.
