A 43-year-old prisoner was stabbed to death Sunday morning at Jessup Correctional Institution, state police said.
Anne Arundel County police said about 11:45 a.m. officers responded to a double shooting in the 7400 block of Montevideo Court. They found the victim lying on the floor bleeding profusely from what appeared to be multiple stab or puncture wounds.
The officers quickly took several inmate suspects into custody who were seen walking away from the scene. No charges have been filed and the investigation continued into Sunday night.
