Inspection commissioner dines at Cleveland Circle Chipotle
The restaurant was closed down few days ago when 136 college students from Boston fell sick after eating at the place. But all employees have since been tested and determined free of the virus that sickened so many. “The food was wonderful”.

“It didn’t affect me, so I’m not nervous at all”, said Liz Muldowney, one of the first customers to patronize the Chipotle after it reopened. He stated, in an interview with The Boston Herald, “The Chipotle is probably the best place to eat right now, because it’s the cleanest place in Boston”.
“I think I’m going to wean myself off of this particular chain and moved to maybe another restaurant”, he said. He reasoned that if the city’s health inspectors gave the restaurant permission to open, the food there must be safe to eat.
An inspection of other Boston Chipotle locations following the sickening found some miscellaneous health code violations at two other restaurants, including a rusted knife holder, utensils stored in a box on the floor and raw chicken kept too close to onions. “Someone had to try it again”.
They say the outbreak was likely caused by a sick employee and isn’t linked to E. coli cases that shuttered dozens of restaurants in OR and Washington in October.
“The Chipotle food-borne illness case will now be studied by restaurant operators, financial pros and p.r. officials for years to come”, noted JP Morgan analyst John Ivankoe as stated by New York Post.
Nikhil Shankar, an ER doctor at nearby Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, said the new bill of health issued by city officials was enough for him to feel comfortable eating at the popular franchise.
WCVB-TV reported that Boston passersby still seemed wary about buying food from the restaurant, although the location did receive some customers over the weekend.

The company said it no longer has any of the contaminated ingredients that could be the cause of the outbreak and may never know what caused it. Despite the E.coli and norovirus outbreaks at Chipotle restaurants, the company’s stock has not been too adversely affected by the December norovirus outbreak.
