Inspectors find violations at 4 Florida Planned Parenthood clinics

Secretly recorded videos of Planned Parenthood officials talking about the harvesting of organs from aborted fetuses has led to accusations that the organization is selling fetal tissue, which would be a violation of federal law. Garrett stands behind the governor.

Planned Parenthood Florida says it’s not done anything wrong, and is accusing the state Agency for Healthcare Administration of flip-flopping on the rules regarding abortions.

“It’s just incredibly disappointing”, Smith said. Attorney General Ken Paxton, a witness at the committee’s hearing last week, said the fifth video exposes the “true nature of the abortion industry”, the report relays. The order came as Planned Parenthood has been the subject of a national controversy that stems from the release of a series of undercover videos related to fetal tissue.

Staci Fox, President and CEO of Planned Parenthood Southeast, said Bentley’s decision will deprive thousands from needed services. “I’ve terminated any association with the organization in AL”, Bentley said in a follow-up tweet. “Hopefully there will be a surge of private and public support for organizations that offer those vital basic services”.

“If a Planned Parenthood office is not following the law, we will move quickly to take legal and regulatory action against them”.

In addition to contending the undercover videos are heavily edited, Planned Parenthood officials countered that clinics may donate fetal tissue for medical research with patients’ permission and that researchers may reimburse the organization for costs incurred, but profits aren’t made.

Goodhue also says, “the claim that any of our health centers are performing procedures we are not licensed to perform is false”.

Liberal media outlets like the Huffington Post have also pointed a crooked finger of blame at Jeb Bush, saying his actions have hurt women’s health care – a popular liberal euphemism for abortion – in Florida.

Gov. Rick Scott reportedly ordered the inspections last week, concerned about issues raised by the troubling videos that has caused so much controversy.

Thursday terminated the state’s Medicaid contract with Planned Parenthood after the legitimacy of using any taxpayer dollars to fund the abortion provider was once again called into question following the release of several videos describing its harvest and sale of aborted baby organs and body parts.
