Instagram begins multiple account support rollout with latest Android beta
By bringing multiple account support to Instagram, the Facebook-owned company is removing a large friction point for those that work with the service for their job. People who might be interested in such feature include business owners or social media managers, as they might have their personal accounts and additional ones. Once you’ve got the right version installed, just dive into your settings and scroll down to the bottom, where you’ll see the new option “Add Account”.

Instagram for Android will soon support multiple accounts, according to a newly discovered beta test version of the popular photo sharing app. The feature shows up in version 7.12.0 of Instagram’s Android release which is available via an APK or Instagram’s official Google Play Store beta tester program. Once a user has added another account, they will be able to switch between those accounts in a drop down menu from their nickname in the profile section and a message colored in green will let them know the account they have selected. In the past, that has meant either questionably functional workarounds or constantly signing out and back in under your various accounts.
The change does appear to be server side-activated, so if you’re running the latest Android beta and it isn’t showing up, have patience.

If you want to try it out for yourself-and any other updates Instagram might throw into some future beta-all you have to do is hit up the website for Instagram’s beta program (for Android).
