It’s an expensive ecosystem: Buying a new iPhone 7, Apple Watch and a set of AirPods will cost over $1,000. It has a waterproof rating of IP67 which, in laypeople terms, means you can fall in a pool or drop it in the toilet and it’ll still work.

It seems odd that Apple is only now deciding not to disclose iPhone 7 pre-order numbers given that previous iPhones have sold out at launch. Its tactics: eliminate the standard headphone jack in its newest iPhones and market new “AirPods” – tiny wireless earbuds that the company claims greatly improve on standard Bluetooth technology. They look silly. Quite literally, like the company simply cut the cords and left the remaining bits to house the battery, antennae and the Apple’s new W1 chip. This new model boasts two more hours of battery life than the iPhone 6 and 6S. The iPhone 7 features are unlikely to shake the growth these three have posted. Our stats represent really vigorous use, so it could be different with just regular use, but it’s still a stark difference that’s worth noting.
