The app update features a roster of Instagram stories at the top of your feed where you can skip from one video clip to the next and view new snaps.
Stories can be viewed from the top bar of your home feed, which features a row of people’s profile pictures (it looks very similar to Snapchat’s stories page). Instead, you will have to send a personal message as a comment on the story. Instagram stories are public if your account is set to public… also like Snapchat. For better or worse, swiping up on one of your Stories will bring up a list of the users who have seen it thus far, which should be enough to satisfy certain curiosities. Snapchat lets you know who may have taken a screen shot of your story while Instagram doesn’t (yet).

Check out Instagram for more details on the feature and to play around with it yourself, just check to make sure you have the latest updated version of Instagram on your phone. “Now you can share your highlights and everything in between, too”.
Imaginatively dubbed Instagram Stories is a lot like Snapchat Stories.

What do you think of these changes? Since then, videos on Instagram have been increased to 60 seconds. However users can hide their entire Story from a specific follower or followers.
