“In a direct attack on the BJP and the PM Azad said that wherever the BJP came to power it only caused a mess”.
“In the same way, the people of Jammu and Kashmir, the political parties, they think that the policy of the Union Government as far as Jammu and Kashmir has completely failed”.
“I am not saying that people living in Kashmir are leading a normal life”, but the state government is trying its best to provide basic facilities”, Rajnath added.
Earlier, Azad associated himself with the views of BSP leader Satish Mishra on Dalit issue and took a jibe on the Prime Minister for making statement on the issue from Telangana and not in Parliament. “We will fight hard to break the Indian forcible occupation come what may”.
Responding to questions by some members as to why the Prime Minister had spoken outside and not in Parliament, Singh said he “has made me the Home Minister and I have rights”.
“I appeal to the people of Kashmir to refrain from such activities”, the Home Minister said. There is uproar on many issues. He’s leader of the government. The Prime Minister should come.
“Not only the political parties, even ordinary people are asking why the Prime Minister can not face the Parliament, can not answer to the queries raised by Members of the Parliament and these are all issues of national concern”.
Speaking on the Kashmir issue in Rajya Sabha, Congress leader Gulam Nabi Azad on Wednesday challenged PM Modi’s recent dialogue on Kashmir issue and said that Kashmir is not just to be loved for its beauty, but one must also love Kashmir for its people, who have suffered because of protests. The Kashmir political class remained engaged in vomiting position against India government and India army.
“The law and order is not the sole responsibility of the Kashmir Police…the paramilitary forces are also involved”. Azad further added that as opposition they only demand peaceful integration of Kashmir with the rest of India but for that congregation, there was a need for the integration of hearts and mind between the people of the Valley and rest of India.
Samajwadi Party leader Ramgopal Yadav targeted Pakistan and “poison is being injected in the hearts and minds of the people” of Kashmir and that “no solution will be effective till the time the source of this venom is blocked”.
He also said that the separatists have been calling for shutdowns in the Kashmir Valley.
The House, in the resolution, also earnestly appealed to all sections of the society in Jammu & Kashmir, “to work for the early restoration of normalcy and harmony and unanimously resolves to restore the confidence among the people in general and youth in particular”.

The resolution said the House “is of the firm and considered view that while there can not be any compromise on national security, it is equally an imperative that urgent steps are taken to restore order and peace for the alleviation of the sufferings of the people”.
