Intruders scale Sea-Tac fences more than officials disclosed
The Associated Press tallied 345 airport perimeter security breaches at 31 major USA airports dating to 2004 and found they remain as frequent as ever, happening on average every 10 days.

Portland airport spokeswoman Kama Simonds says none of the 2015 breaches appear to be intentional.
Intruders got over the fencing that protects Texas’ two busiest airports more than authorities disclosed, though there were no breaches previous year.
There were two breaches in 2014 and three in 2015. AP documented 345 breaches nationally. And there were two other incidents that January.
Through a long-running Freedom of Information Act request, AP received federal records that showed another five the airport didn’t tell AP about.
Airports say their perimeters are strong and note no breach involved a known terrorist plot.

Across California, AP documented nine intrusions in 2015 at California’s four busiest airports. Elsewhere, breaches remain as frequent as ever, happening about every 10 days at one of the airports AP studied. He got over the fence by taking a ladder that an employee was using on the outside to set up better lighting at a cargo facility.
