The crash, two miles from the small airport where the plane was to land, killed two executives and five employees at Pebb Enterprises, a Boca Raton, Fla.-based company that specializes in shopping centers.

NTSB lead investigator Jim Silliman said investigators interviewed the pilot who successfully landed a plane just before the Hawker H25, carrying seven passengers, crashed. The plane reportedly clipped a few electrical wires as it fell into the side of a four-story apartment complex. On Monday it flew from Fort Lauderdale to Minneapolis, St Louis, and Moline before landing in Cincinnati.
“That was just awful”, she said.
Investigators say they hope to remove the wreckage of the plane on Thursday and they will likely remain on the scene for several days. ExecuFlight is the company that leased the jet.
Roberta Porter was driving with her grandson through Akron, Ohio, when a plane “dropped out of the sky”. No one was at home in either building at the time of the crash, and there were no other injuries reported on the ground. Officials also revealed that the voice data recorder from the plane has been sent to Washington, D.C. and the engine will be sent to its manufacturer for further inspection.
The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are in Akron to begin investigating Tuesday’s plane crash that killed nine people.
The smoke cleared to reveal the bulk of the plane in an embankment behind the building. The American Red Cross assisted 11 individuals and helped 10 of them with lodging Tuesday night, spokesman Jim McIntyre said.
Haymaker said they’ve contacted the families of the deceased.
June Dunban said she hears planes all the time and thought nothing of it when she heard one Tuesday afternoon.
Raider said even though his apartment can be repaired, it may be tough living there again.
Another hint is that the pilots made no distress calls, indicating they were dealing with a few other emergency, such as a mechanical problem.
“I thought it hit the back of the building”, Eric Morris said.

“I was just in shock, and I was crying and upset”, Beth Montgomery said, according to Newsnet 5, referring to the crash and losing her home in the incident, adding: “I lost everything”.
