IOS 10 countdown to precise release time

Apple has unveiled iOS 10, the latest version of its iPhone and iPad software set to be released later this year, at its annual Worldwide Developers Conference. You will see the precise iOS 10 release time on the countdown clock that we included below. Some device will not be capable of getting the new software update. Once Apple releases the mobile operating system update (Sept. 13) you should get a notification.

The new iOS 10 can also be downloaded and installed through iTunes by connecting the device onto a desktop or Mac and “check for update” before downloading and updating to the latest software. Makes sure you are connected to a reliable Wi-Fi signal, and it is always good to make sure you device is charged or charging when installing a new update. Also don’t forget, iOS 10 is not jailbroken. In the Summary pane, click “Check for Update”, then Download, and Update.

So when is the exact release time for iOS 10? If you plan to download iOS 10 the first day, be prepared to run into some delays. For those in the Eastern and Central time zones, expect to get the updates from 12 noon to 1 p.m., while those in the Mountain time zone might be able to start downloading the newest iOS update from 11 a.m. up to 12 noon. Hopefully, it won’t take that long, but it could.
