Iowa GOP congressman says QB’s protest ‘sympathetic to ISIS’

Some of the National Football League players who have joined him in his peaceful protest have done so at some personal and financial cost.

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick drew the ire of police unions and NFL executives when he refused to stand for the national anthem.

Defend the “stars and stripes”.

Kaepernick’s actions have generated controversy because a certain segment of the population believes protesting the anthem is a sign of disrespect to the country and members of the military. Because at the end of the day it’s a sport, and people are gonna be looking at some guys in the National Basketball Association to see what they’regonna do as well. “I’m going to continue to think of different things and continue to come up with different solutions”.

Although many respondents disagree with Kaepernick’s stance, 64 percent of all the people who were surveyed agreed that Kaepernick has a constitutional right to protest and shouldn’t be punished by the NFL. “But I think definitely, we’ll see a few guys in the National Basketball Association doing the same thing”, Oladipo told Complex’s Russ Bengston during an offseason Q&A published Wednesday.

Service Officer Joe Brady at the VFW 392 in Virginia Beach says many veterans, including himself, do not agree with what Kaepernick is doing, but he also wouldn’t agree with a rule to make them stand.

“I think that’s one of the most ridiculous comments I’ve heard”. A lot of people are watching at all times.

On Monday, Worcester Schools Superintendent Maureen Binienda said there was a misunderstanding over players standing during the national anthem.

He said: “I don’t want to kneel forever”.

And in last night’s episode they poked fun at the hype surrounding Kaepernick’s, uh, stand against what he sees as a great injustice, The Sun reports. He can take his offensive and disrespectful socks with him.

Over the weekend, Kansas City Chiefs player Marcus Peters and New England Patriots Martellus Bennett and Devin McCourty raised their fists in the air while the anthem played.

So I’ll respect Kaepernick’s decision to spend this pre-game ritual on one knee – as long as he spends the rest of the game on his back when he plays the Seahawks on New Year’s Day.
