Trump, the Republican presidential front-runner, advanced the theory that Clinton has been praising President Barack Obama because she wants to stay out of jail.

“She completely embodies the concept of women empowerment”, Lovato said after her set, which included several songs off her latest album, also titled “Confident”.
A focus group conducted by an unaffiliated Democratic strategist during the last debate found Clinton’s message fell flat. Earlier Thursday, the campaign released a Web video knocking Sanders for his answer, and her top aides are expected to hold a conference call with reporters on the topic on Thursday afternoon. “When you attack him, you’re not actually addressing the problem”.
Clinton, a former secretary of state, led on foreign policy, garnering more trust by 40 points.
The former secretary of state said she is the “only candidate on either side with the experience and judgment to keep us safe at home and strong in the world”.
The emphasis on Sanders’ positions in national security come as new polls show the Vermont Senator opening a lead in Iowa and New Hampshire. The threat from Bernie Sanders is believed to be rattling the Clinton camp. Clinton won New Hampshire in 2008.
But Sanders might have crossed a bridge too far in arguing that Planned Parenthood and the Human Rights Campaign had backed Clinton because they are all “part of the establishment”. For the most part, Democratic voters aren’t looking for someone else to join the contest, but are satisfied with the choice they have.
Clinton also stated, “I know we’re in a hard fight here and I know we’re running against one of your neighbors”.
Clinton supporters went on a social media offensive Wednesday night, using the hashtag “I’mSoEstablishment” to defend Clinton and lambast Sanders. As a senator representing NY in 2002, Clinton voted to authorize force in Iraq. Clinton’s advantage – besides perceived electability – comes on foreign policy questions.
Here’s Bill Clinton on Sanders.
“We need an global coalition, with Muslim boots on the ground, fighting with our support”, Sanders says. Sanders is simply not known by many black voters.
And caucuses scheduled in March and April in states like Maine, Colorado and Wyoming could favor Sanders. Evan Bayh, a Clinton fundraiser.

Over at NRO, David French says things aren’t so bad where it concerns Republicans in the 2016 presidential race by making the “We’re not Democrats” argument. “First of all, there are pipelines going through New Hampshire and going through Vermont, and they’re going through Iowa, among other places”.
