Apple unveiled the larger iPad Pro on Wednesday, September 9, hoping to rival Microsoft Corp’s 12-inch Surface Pro 3 in attracting business customers.

One of the big new features for the iPad Pro will be its Pencil stylus, which promises pro-level drawing and note-taking performance but will cost an extra £79. If you were to hop on over to the company’s website, you will be able to purchase one for yourself for $149.99, about $20 cheaper than Apple’s own accessory. With a starting price of $799 for the 32GB model, it’s certainly the most expensive iPad we’ve seen; bump up a few of the device’s specs and you’re looking to spend $1,079 for the highest end iPad Pro-and that’s without the optional stylus and keyboard.

He continued: “Yes, the iPad Pro is a replacement for a notebook or a desktop for many, many people”. But he said Apple didn’t mind as long as it was cannibalizing itself. The pencil is already available in Apple stores for consumers who would wish to get a feel of it before buying. He added that once they start using it, they will decide that it will be the only thing they need aside from their smartphones.

As for the specifications, there are rumors that the MacBook Pro 2016 will come in two options – a 13-inch screen and a 15-inch screen, along with the latest processor, Intel Skylake U-chipset, and the latest operating system, El Capitan.

While the iPad Pro will manage modest sales, we believe worldwide adoption of the tablet is something that Apple can not pull off with this version of the device.

Five years ago, Steve Jobs introduced the Apple iPad and kicked off a sea change in how people gamed, browsed the Internet, and watched video.

It will be offered in three metal finishes (silver, gold and space grey).
