According to Mac Rumors, folks who have gotten hold of the iPad Pro have been complaining about unresponsive devices after charging.
Apple knows about the problem, but hasn’t said why it’s happening. “When I woke up it was ‘dead.’ I couldn’t wake it up”, wrote one user, identified only as Darkfire. It wouldn’t wake up. The only work around for this so far has been performing a hard reset but Apple is now on the case and has acknowledged the issue. I plugged it back in and waited for an hour and it still didn’t come back on.
Long back in 1997 Jobs discontinued Newton immediately which was a tablet-like device that came along with stylus. It involves gently tapping the screen 20 times with a sledgehammer and then buying a proper notebook which does more things for half the price. I thought that maybe I didn’t plug it in all the way on the charger overnight and it ran out of juice. Tech Insider reports that the “stylus is back ordered for four to five weeks online, and you’ll probably have a hard time finding one at an Apple Store, too”.
These freezes have not been reported for any other iOS devices, which is leading a few users to believe that it might be an issue with the iPad Pro hardware. Weighing just 1 gram, Apple had to actually fold the board in half in order to get it inside the Pencil.
The iPad Pro became available this month, retailing for between $1249 to to $1699 in Australia.
