IPhone 5SE and iPad Air 3 chips tipped
As investors have battered Apple’s stock in recent weeks, the Cupertino company has let Bloomberg inside its chip labs in a rare instance. Now, fresh information has revealed the chipsets that are expected to power the upcoming tablet and the small-sized iPhone. It is the same SoC that is present under the hood of the 12.9-inch iPad Pro.

The upcoming iPad Air 3 is alleged to have a Smart connector, suggesting that the new tablet is capable of connecting to other devices, such as the Smart Keyboard and Apple Pencil that are bundled with the iPad Pro.
However the iPad Pro is a very powerful tablet but on the downside it is one that is heavy if you are carrying it around.
The iPhone 5SE is expected to mark a return to the 4-inch form factor and feature plastic casing a la the iPhone 5C, as well as similar hardware to the A9-equipped iPhone 6S.
Manufactured for entry level users who mainly prefer smaller and cost-effective phones, the iPhone 5se features a 4-inch display and 1GB of RAM with a 1624 mAh battery.
All the iPad models that have launched in the past do not feature an LED flash for the main camera. It remains to be seen whether this 4-inch iPhone will launch as the iPhone 5se or the iPhone 6c, but more information should become available shortly. Currently, the Apple A8 chipset has powered iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus smartphones from 2014.
There’s been much speculation as to which chips will be powering both devices – particularly in the case of the iPhone 5SE. Moreover, this chip was also claimed to be nearly 50% faster than the one in the last generation of the device. The company is expected to showcase a new iPad Air, the iPad Air 3 which will be coming out with a 9.7 inched screen, and will feature features which are quite similar to those of the iPad Pro device.

The two new devices are likely to launch in mid-March, but Apple is yet to confirm the press event.
