We have been hearing rumors regarding a new 4-inch iPhone 6C from a very long time.

We demand the newest, and we’ll wait in the rain to get it. But always Apple demands more – just that bit more, every time.

APPLE is reportedly trialling at least five different models of the iPhone 7, with variations including a smaller phone, ditching the Lightning port and dual cameras to boost image quality of smartphone snaps. And if the rumors are to be believed about the next generation of the Apple iPhone – and undoubtedly, the iPad – a Lightning (or USB-C?) dongle might well be in your future, too. What’s being rumoured now is that the company is testing out fingerprint recognition that’s built-in to the display, as well as another version featuring a new multi-touch enabled Force Touch. The iPhone 6s is now available at lucrative discounts on eBay. USB-C is about a third of the size of a standard USB port, and the change allowed Apple to make the new MacBook its thinnest and lightest Mac ever.

The iPhone 7 is rumored to measure between 6.0 to 6.5 mm in thickness and will be equipped with an A9 Chip and 2 or 3GB of RAM.

While water resistant phones have existed for a while, the popularity with manufacturers ebbs and flows, with Samsung choosing to add it on the Galaxy S5, then abandon it for the Galaxy S6. A report on Apple Insider points out that the company had hinted about Lightning conductor supported accessories at WWDC a year ago as well. One such example was the iPhone 5c, a cheaper variant of the iPhone model which came with a plastic back case instead of an aluminum one. Credit Suisse projects Apples global iPhone installed base to grow from 400 million users in 2014 to about 615 million by 2017. So if Apple wants to slim down the iPhone 7, it has to do it around the headphone jack.

“However, I can not say that this will happen precisely at the iPhone 7”, he told TechNewsWorld.

While Apple has always been using LCD screens for its devices, the iPhone 7 may see OLED screens.

Looking further forward, a recent rumour suggests that Apple will be tapping LG for an OLED iPhone display, although a report published byNikkei claims that Apple isn’t looking to make the change until 2018. He also claims the iPhone 7 Plus will have 3GB of RAM, while the iPhone 7 will only use 2GB.
