IPhone 6S 12-megapixel camera “confirmed”

The supplier confirms that the Cupertino giant will formally launch the new iPhone model at an exclusive event on September 9. It is likely that Apple considering dates that coincide perfectly with the company’s estimated time-line of its latest iPhones launch, and the unclear situation only fuels rumors that Apple might rent out the auditorium. These dates are based on the launch of the handset’s predecessor past year. Users can then expect to receive the first batch of the handsets as early as September 18. In fact the alleged announcement by a French company advising its employees about the possible pre-order came from the site.

The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus were released past year without an upgraded plastic iPhone 5C, leading to speculations that Apple planned to launch the plastic iPhone 6C in 2015.

The iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus are highly anticipated devices which are expected to outdo the iPhone 6 in sales and take Apple’s shares to new heights. This facility can hold a seating capacity of up to 755.

If new reports are to be believed, Apple fans will have a lot to be excited about as the new flagship phone will have some major upgrades.

While speaking with Business Insider, the unnamed source disclosed the details of the camera and said that for the iPhone 6S, fans can expect the lens to be 12 megapixels – a good jump from the 8 megapixel camera the current iPhone 6 models have.

Other rumoured features include a DSLR-quality camera, a new processor – the A9 – produced by Samsung, and a scratch-resistant sapphire glass screen.

The iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus are both expected to be slightly thicker to accommodate the Force Touch display.
