IPhone 6S leaked images go viral

They are always questionable, but Phone Arena states that according to past experience, Foxconn’s leaks are usually accurate, since it’s the iPhone maker’s last production source. However, yesterday we showed some new leaked images purporting to show the metal casing of the iPhone 6S, and if these are genuine it seems that this is not the case.

Apple: Until now, the news dealing with Apple’s next-generation iPhone models was based purely on rumors and speculation, from 240fps camera support and virtual home button to Force Touch displays and 2GB of RAM.

The folks over 9 to 5 Mac revealed that the cutouts for the camera, microphone and LED flash are in the same position. The ports on offer are also identical to that of the iPhone 6: a central Lightning connector, a left-mounted 3.5mm headphone jack and six circular holes for sound from the speaker to emanate from. Unfortunately, those hoping for six inches or more may have to wait for the iPhone 7 release date, since the iPhone 6S rumors are disappointing in that regard.

Finally Kuo’s note added that the biggest change in terms of design will be the use of a new “grade of aluminum” which will help make the phone stronger.

The report further stated that design of iPhone 6 doesn’t have any tweaks, it will come with a different mounting structure for the new components and the logic board. Apple has done this to all its iPhone upgrades since the iPhone 3G in 2009.

A brand new processor is expected for the new iPhone. However, they will implement a new feature called Force Touch; this senses how hard users are pressing down on the screen.

The past couple of weeks have been full of iPhone 6s leaks, and today we’ve got another to check out. It is also expected that the iPhone 6S camera will be 12 megapixels.
