The research firm estimates iPhone shipments in China will decline 20 per cent in the second half of this year to 21 million from a year ago.

With the Apple event coming tomorrow – and assuming the company maintains its typical release schedule – the new phone will be released between September 16 and 23. “There’s a lot more growth potential when people have their first chance to buy an iPhone, but that potential has now been realized”. Tied for second and third place, at 11% of revenue, is Mac and Services. iPad comes in third, at 9%. Reports suggest that the iPhone 7 will be similar to the iPhone 6s, but will be thinner than the predecessor.
When the first iPhone was launched, in 2007, you couldn’t plug a normal set of headphones into it. As the new iPhones are expected to bring minor design tweaks, Apple was expected to reserve the “7” branding for next year’s models.
Rumors have it that the iPhone can be slimmer without the headphone jack and that its absence also helps with waterproofing.
Expected internal upgrades are more notable, but not game changing.
Most notably, Kuo says the iPhone 7 will be available in 32GB, 128GB, and 256GB storage options – moving away from the 16GB and 64GB options previously available.
Given what appears to be small upgrades to the iPhone, what Apple may be doing this week is offering the iPhone 7 as a placeholder, something that those needing an upgrade can have but nothing to really knock the socks off the entire smartphone category.
According to DigiTimes, Apple reportedly boosted its parts and components order higher by 10 percent.
The CNN report points out that APPL is still cheap, trading for only about 12 times earnings estimates for next year.
The new iPhone, dubbed the iPhone 7, isn’t expected to look radically different, The Wall Street Journal reports, with the same 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch screens as on the iPhone 6.
Apple will introduce its newest iPhones Wednesday at an event that will start at 10 a.m. PT (1 p.m. ET). The company will stream the event live on its website.

Apple may also choose to announce new Beats products during the iPhone 7 launch tomorrow. And we think its stock price has almost unlimited room to run for early in-the-know investors! If true, it would be another achievement for Apple, but unfortunately, without substantial proof in the form of images, we can not confirm if this feature is going to be available or not.
