IPhone 7 Facing Short Supplies As Release Date Draws Near
The verdict is that if Apple releases the phone as scheduled, there definitely will be a supply shortage because some suppliers are still working on fixing the components giving them problems.

Reports claim that Apple is going to launch its iPhone 7 line close to its launch schedule in 2015.
Yuanta Investment Consulting analyst Jeff Pu is of the opinion that production would hover around 114 million units, which is down from 120 million (for older and newer models).
The issue on the shortage of iPhone 7 production is reportedly caused by the defects in the waterproof speaker and dual-camera module, which Apple reportedly has not yet resolved.
One of the most reliable Apple leakers has doubled down on his predicted launch date for the Apple iPhone 7 – September 16. This may in turn result to higher costs for manufacturers and subsequently less volume of devices delivered to consumers.
According to reports, it was expected that three variants of iPhones will be released this year, which are the iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus and the iPhone 7 Pro. It is important to note, however, that Apple is also facing pressure with pricing. “Together with pricing pressure, we expect most Apple food chain suppliers to see (year-on-year) revenue decline for the rest of the year”, says Jeffrey Pu, an analyst with Yuanta Investment in a note dated August 23. It is also rumoured that the devices will go live for pre-orders on Apple’s website on September 9.
The certainties are that the iPhone 7 won’t have a headphone jack and it will be coming with QHD resolution.

Many believe that Apple will stay true to its naming habits, while others believe that something might change because there are many rumors regarding the anniversary release of the next gen of iPhones in 2017 that state that the particular models will undergo significant redesigning thus making them a very different type of iPhone.
