IPhone 7 ‘Jet Black’ sold out? Here’s how to get it
This button resets all active connections, and presumably leaves the AirPods open to pairing with other Bluetooth devices.

Compatible, wired, headphones connect via the Lightning port – Apple’s new standard for connecting the iPhone, as well as charging. There is no headphone jack on the iPhone 7, and even brute force won’t make that analogue minijack work in a Lightning port. That can be either Lightning-connector headphones or the Lightning to 3.5mm adapter.
The research firm also knocks Apple for not including such niceties as wireless charging, and for lacking any breakthrough technologies. Which means people around the world stayed up into the wee hours of the morning refreshing webpages, hoping to be one of the first people to get their hands on a piece of that sweet, sweet headphone-jack-less, water-resistant Apple tech. This is only slightly more useful than the one port on the phone. “We’ve got this 50-year-old connector – just a hole filled with air – and it’s just sitting there taking up space, really valuable space”, said Dan Riccio, Apple’s senior vice president of hardware engineering.
So begins this amusing parody of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus from popular YouTuber and longtime Apple critic jacksfilms.

When the iPhone 7 officially goes on sale on September 16, there’s a good chance you’ll be able to pick up the “Jet Black” option in stores. But accessories manufacturer Belkin has a solution: A $39 adapter that allows headphones and a charging cable to be plugged into the headphone jack at the same time. The Belkin website states that the device “supports one Lightning Audio device and one charger only”, so using the second Lightning port for anything other than charging might be a no no. That makes it a business decision, and not much more.
