The Cupertino-based company has just sent invites to its highly anticipated event this year that will be held in San Francisco on September 7.

Now, while this development might ignite some criticisms, it should be noted that this removal will also pave the way to a much thinner iteration and a beefed-up waterproofing feature.

There was also another leak sheet suggesting that there will be a 256GB option this year as well. The leak comes from the discovery of several sample iPhone 7 SIM trays – including one in the brand-new glossy black finish. The said iteration sports an equally advanced iris scanner and waterproofing that basically dwarfed Apple’s iPhone 6S.

What that means is that previously, buyers would have to pay about $770 for the 16GB model, but this time that amount would get them the 32GB model instead. Wireless headphone may unveil on the same day. iPhone 7’s home button will be changed. Whereas iPhone 7 plus will be water resistant and have the dual camera. On both the upcoming versions, camera will be 12 MP and while iPhone 7 will have a screen of 4.7 inch and 2 GB RAM; iPhone 7 Plus will have 5.5 inch screen and 3GB RAM. The speculations left many upset with connecting headphones to the Lightning port needing adjustments.
