Along with iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, Apple is likely to launch new Apple Watch too at the event.

The invitation from Apple to the media reads “see you on the 7 which indicates that it would be announcing the next iPhones on September 7”. Also, the date suggests the new phone will be called iPhone 7 after all. After months of speculations, Apple is finally going to launch newest iPhone, probably iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus on September 7.
Experts predict the company will roll out the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus as well as a new Apple Watch.
The abovementioned rumor seems to coincide with observations by some industry analysts who think that this year’s seventh iterative upgrade to the iPhone lineup won’t represent any significant departure from the current iPhone 6S.
The tech giant will debut its new iPhone amidst a legal storm in the U.S. initiated by former iPhone 6 and 6 Plus users who have launched a class action lawsuit over malfunctioning touchscreens.
iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 7 Pro will come with similar specifications expect that the latter will sport a dual rear camera setup. Apple is also rumoured to ditch the 16GB storage as base variant in favour of a 32GB model.
If the rumours for the upcoming iPhone 7 are correct, then the iPhone 7 will shed a 3.5 mm audio jack and replace that with a dongle that will connect your old headphones to the lightning port, or simply wireless EarPods. In July, designer Martin Hajek created 3D iPhone 7 renders in a black colour option, which had gone viral on the internet.
