United States tech giant Apple has reportedly sent out invites to select media to cover the launch of the much-awaited iPhone 7 here on September 7. The high profile launch event will be held at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco wherein three new Apple products are likely to be unveiled.

According to Dutch tech site TechTastic, Dutch Vodafone has confirmed the iPhone 7 will be called. the iPhone 7.

Believe it or not we’ve read that the new iPhone model might lose the signature circular home button which will be weird but then who knows?

The Website and invitation says simply “See you on the 7th” with the expectation being the 7 is a clear sign of an iPhone 7 announcement.

The company, however, didn’t provide any details, in keeping with its usual practice, but it traditionally announces one or two new iPhone models at its annual September event. And, rumours surrounding the new iPhone do not seem to be dying down. iPhone 4S users also sued Apple for rendering phones useless and forcing them to get a new phone with the release of iOS 9. Much like the iPhone 6, the iPhone 7 will have a 4.7-inch display with a 750×1334 resolution and 2GB of RAM.

Most leaked images suggest the iPhone 7 will feature a glass and aluminium body, so it will look pretty similar to the iPhone 6s. If there is an iPhone 7 Pro – which is looking increasingly more likely – you should expect to pay at least £750 for a 64GB model, and £840 for a 128GB model. The malfunction often follows after a “flickering gray bar” appears across the top of the iPhone screen. Apple is also rumoured to ditch the 16GB storage as base variant in favour of a 32GB model.
