If you are planning to pre-order the iPhone 7 from United Kingdom mobile network EE today, you’ll have to get in line. Whether or not you think this is a good idea, Apple has kicked off the post-headphone jack era – Android OEMs are going to start following suit.

It’s more of an issue if you have a pair of headphones or earphones with a 3.5mm connector. But the problem with this is that you’re limited to using Lightning headphones only. However, BGR says the way you’ll re-charge them means battery life “shouldn’t really be a concern for prospective AirPod users”. Well, Apple’s now got two of them, calling them AirPods, and it’s asking a lofty $159 for the privilege of taking your EarPods wireless.

So buy the new one or stick with an old iPhone? .

UK RETAILER Carphone Warehouse has revealed that the iPhone 7 is proving to be Apple’s most popular smartphone so far. It is also pressure-sensitive. On the front, the new iPhone has a 7MP camera with wide colour capture and auto image stabilisation.

Apple has released its new set of iPhones-7 and 7 Plus. Offering pre-orders in the middle of the night likely reduces the strain on Apple’s servers and gives it a chance to catch its breath before the bigger wave comes when East Coasters wake up. The design is in line with the iPhone 6S, but has been improved. The most obvious difference from iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus is that the Plus handsets are equipped with dual lens camera, enabling production of photos that are professional grade. Both phone’s displays have increased color gamut and brightness.

Apart from its striking looks, the jet black version is also limited to a 128GB and 256GB variant while the rest have a minimum of 32GB of storage.

Apple is looking for ways to make the iPhone case more watertight in order to compete with Android vendors that have been touting their own phones’ water resistance, according to a report made by BGR. This year will be the first time Apple won’t unveil that closely watched number. Aside from the waterproofing feature of Apple Watch Series 2, the latest smartwatch is even more fitness focused compared to its predecessor.
